Matt Turner, the U.S. men's national team goalkeeper, has had a tough start to the season, having been left out of the Nottingham Forest squad for each of the club's first two Premier League games. There's likely no chance at redemption, either, with Turner currently third on the club's depth chart.
Nottingham Forest, though, have turned down multiple loan offers for Turner, ESPN reported on Tuesday. Teams in the English Championship and the Bundesliga have inquired, but Forest prefers to complete a permanent sale of the goalkeeper in an effort to recoup some of the $9 million fee the club paid for Turner last summer.
