Marcus Rashford leads Premier League in three key stats since leaving Man Utd for Aston Villa at end of January transfer window

After struggling under former coach Erik ten Hag, the England international's situation only worsened when new boss Ruben Amorim turned up. Rashford found himself dropped from the United squad entirely shortly after the Portuguese took over and, after being linked with AC Milan and Barcelona, he opted to join Unai Emery's men on loan last month.

It has taken just three Premier League appearances for his new team for Rashford to burst into life, though, as he helped orchestrate a 2-1 comeback win against Chelsea on Saturday, registering both assists for Marco Asensio. The four big chances he has created is the highest in the league since his debut, according to Opta, while he also has the joint-most assists and joint-most dribbles in that time.

The 27-year-old's vital display against Chelsea drew praise from his new co-stars Youri Tielemans and Asensio, who thanked him for the two assists, while coach Emery explained how he plans on ensuring the United academy graduate continues to improve as the season goes on.

Villa are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions and Rashford will be looking to build on his impressive start when they come up against Crystal Palace on February 25.
