Delap has been one of the successes of the Premier League season, scoring six goals in 13 games and spearheading the Tractor Boys' fight to avoid relegation. It's no surprise that his form has sparked interest from the big boys, with a potential move on the cards next summer.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
According to The Athletic, scouts from many top-flight clubs have watched Delap this season, including in the 1-1 draw against United last weekend. At 21, there's presumably more to come from the Manchester City academy graduate as well.
TELL ME MORE
The Athletic's report continues by claiming there's now an expectation that Delap, son of former Stoke City star Rory, will join one of the 'Big Six' clubs should he continue to impress. Manchester United and Chelsea both admire the England Under-21 star, although any attempts to sign him may be scuppered by City.
DID YOU KNOW?
City include matching rights or buy-back clauses in most of their sales. That said, the thought of battling with Erling Haaland for a place in the starting line-up is unlikely to appeal to Delap.

WHAT NEXT FOR DELAP?
Kieran McKenna's side, unbeaten in three in the Premier League, visit Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, and Delap will be keen to continue his scoring exploits.
