Man Utd, Chelsea & Liverpool on red alert as highly-rated Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim targets move to the Premier League

Since guiding Sporting to four trophies - including the Primeira Liga title - in the last four years, Amorim has long been on the radar of top European teams. However, 39-year-old has his heart set on a move to the Premier League, according to Sports Zone.

Chelsea, Liverpool and United are all said to be interested in hiring Amorim. Liverpool are eyeing candidates to replace Jurgen Klopp at the helm at Anfield this summer and are particularly interested in Amorim. Chelsea and United, meanwhile, are considering their options should they decide to part ways with Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag, respectively.

Agents Antero Henrique and Raul Da Costa are working on finding a top English club for the ex-Benfica manager and the representatives are particularly well liked by the top figures at Anfield, the report maintains. However, coveted Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso is widely reported to be the Reds' priority target.

With his team sitting second in Liga Portugal and just two points behind Benfica, Amorim will hope to guide them to another title to ensure he attracts even more attention from the top teams in the Premier League.
