Wubben-Moy told Forbes: "I never look at my comments, both good and bad, I try to avoid it. I think the moment you open the door to a good comment, you open the door to twenty bad comments and those bad comments are often the ones that loom largest."
The 25-year-old also opened up on the struggles she has faced as a woman in football.
"The main barrier that I seemed to come across throughout my whole life in football has been that it's a boy's sport," she added. "Everything that comes with that: you look more masculine if you put shorts on, your legs are muscly or your arms are muscly. Those were the challenges that I had to overcome."
