The right-sided defender would be a direct replacement for former captain DeAndre Yedlin, whom they traded to FC Cincinnati on Sunday. The 23-year-old would potentially join fellow new signings Nicolas Freire and Federico Redondo in the XI, alongside Lionel Messi.
