  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Despite guiding Leeds back to the Premier League this season, Farke is in danger of losing his jobs as the Elland Road club have concerns about his record in the top-flight. While he twice won the Championship with Norwich, they were relegated on one occasion and he was sacked months after guiding them back to the top tier.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The 48-year-old will soon learn his fate as The Guardianreports that the club's chairman will travel from San Francisco to discuss the manager's situation. He will see the team in action against Bristol on Monday before sitting down with Farke this week.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Marathe represents around 100 investors that make up 49ers Enterprises, the consortium that owns the club, and it is the chairman who will have the final say. Marathe will listen to Farke's ideas for next season before the club will confirm whether or not they will make a change over the summer.

    WHAT NEXT FOR LEEDS?

Leeds are three points behind Championship leaders Burnley but can draw level with them at the top of the table with a win against Bristol. They could then win the title on the last day of the season, when they face a Plymouth side in need of a massive win to have a chance of avoiding relegation.
