Lauryn Goodman sends emotional message to Man City star Kyle Walker's parents as she vows to 'continue her journey in public'

Walker had two kids with Goodman during an affair but is currently back with his wife, Annie Kilner. A constant public battle continues to be played out in the tabloids between Goodman and Walker, though, with the former often talking about the right-back and his wife.

Goodman was asked about the relationship between her and Walker's children, Kairo and Kinara, and their paternal grandparents, revealing that they no longer share a bond. She also took encouragement to continue her "public" battle.

"Obviously [what] I think people don't realise is they did have a relationship with his side of the family, the grandparents. They had really nice family days out etcetera, but obviously that stopped in December," she said on her Yours Sincerely podcast.

After reading out an emotional message from a fan, she responded: "So sad but if this message doesn't make me want to continue my journey in public, I don't know what would because for me... I mean even just saying 'your strength has kept me going these last few months' - she's a mum! My heart goes out to her."

England international Walker has decided to stay quiet despite the many headlines his former mistress continues to generate. In the meantime, he will be keeping his mind on the Three Lions' clash with Greece on Thursday.
