Jose Mourinho's new striker? Fenerbahce in talks to sign former Premier League star playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia

Fabrizio Romano reports that the Turkish outfit want to sign ex-Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran, with a move said to be close. Al-Nassr have allowed the forward to leave the club and terms are close to being agreed.

Duran only signed for Al-Nassr in January, costing the Saudi club a reported £65m. He has struggled to settle at his new club, however, and a summer move seems to suit all parties.

Villa were said to be "exasperated" by Duran during his time at the club, explaining why they were so willing to sell one of the most exciting young forwards in the league. He has scored 12 goals in 18 matches for Al-Nassr but is set to be on the move again.

Should a move be completed, Duran will join a Fenerbahce side aiming to win their first title since 2011. Galatasaray have won the league in three straight seasons.
