Goodbye, Premier League: Kevin De Bruyne rules out staying in England with outgoing Man City dynamo set for free transfer abroad

De Bruyne will leave City when his contract expires at the end of the season after being informed by the club he would not be offered an extension.

The 33-year-old playmaker suggested he would seek a move to another Premier League team, but The Telegraph reports he has decided to accept an adventure in another country. MLS and Saudi Pro League teams have shown interest in De Bruyne, while Serie A title hopefuls Napoli are also candidates to sign him.

De Bruyne has spent 10 years with City and made more than 420 appearances. He has won six Premier League titles, five Carabao Cups, two FA Cups and a Champions League crown with the club.

De Bruyne will play his last game for Pep Guardiola's team against Fulham on Sunday. He has already insisted he will not be part of the squad for the Club World Cup, which begins on June 14.
