'More worried about how he looks' - Fans mock Memphis Depay ex-Man Utd flop trains alone in Monaco

Depay and Atletico Madrid parted ways in the summer, but any battle for the Netherlands international's signature hasn't commenced; while the new season gets underway across Europe, Depay is training alone in Monaco. The 30-year-old shared footage of himself running hill sprints and working with a medicine ball on Instagram, but if the former United forward thought the content would attract overwhelming support, he was wrong. Fans have mocked Depay following a disappointing Euro 2024 campaign with his country and joked that he should be training with a ball at his feet.

Depay scored just nine goals in all competitions in his final season with Atletico Madrid and the Spanish club were happy to let him walk in the summer. The 30-year-old has battled concerns about his attitude throughout his career, but he'll be hoping that potential employers perceive his training videos as evidence of his desire to work hard in order to prove he's not en route to the Greek Super League.

The former Barcelona man, who has been linked with a move to Roma, will be desperate to end the uncertainty surrounding his future by joining a new club soon.
