Erling Haaland planning a fashion empire? Man City superstar trademarks name and could start producing line of silk pyjamas

The striker hopes to secure the rights to EBH - for Erling Braut Haaland - with the reported hope of putting his stamp on a line of items, according to The Sun. He could also bring out a wide range of items such as soap, deodorant, perfume, computer games, mobile phones, smartwatches, jewellery, umbrellas, drinks bottles, sunglasses, yoga balls and sweatpants.

Haaland is a known pyjamas enthusiast, particularly the silk variety. He wore a pair of silk PJs to City's Premier League title celebration last season and has sported a few Dolce and Gabbana sets of evening wear in the recent past, too.

Haaland has become a worldwide sensation during his rise to stardom. He is the Premier League's top scorer this season, scoring 14 goals in 15 matches for reigning champions City, putting him two ahead of Liverpool hero Mohamed Salah. Haaland has also chipped in with four assists in the league.

While he awaits the ruling on his appeal to trademark his initials, Haaland will continue his recovery from an injury that has kept him out of action for City in recent weeks. The Norway international is expected to miss his team's Premier League match against Everton on Wednesday.
