Christian Pulisic called 'World-Class' by Alexi Lalas following outstanding start to Serie A season with AC Milan

Pulisic has already scored three goals and registered two assists from Milan's first five Serie A matches. The USMNT winger netted the opening goal just three minutes into his team's 3-1 loss to Liverpool in the Champions League, and then went on to find the net as they beat Inter 2-1 in the first Milan derby of the season.

The ex-Chelsea star enjoyed a stellar campaign last year, too, but his impeccable start to the 2024-25 season has resulted in huge praise from USMNT legend and ex-LA Galaxy defender Lalas, who said he is one of the top 25 players in the world.

Speaking on his State of the Union show, Lalas said: "What is World Class? Well, you've got your definition, I have my definition. But if you want to know what World-Class is, it's Christian Pulisic. In this moment right now, he's got either a goal or an assist in his last five games. I think he's playing his best soccer of his career. And I'm telling you right now, Christian Pulisic at this moment is one of the top 25 players in the world. He just happens to be American."

Milan started the new season with two draws and a defeat before finally picking up two wins in a row in Serie A, leaving them seventh in the table after five matches. They will look to make it three straight victories when they meet Lecce on Friday.
