Feisty Chelsea clash with Bournemouth breaks Premier League record for yellow cards

Taylor dished out 14 bookings from 25 fouls between both teams, with a large number of yellows coming from dissent and unsportsmanlike behaviour. Bournemouth were also given a first-half penalty, leading to a yellow for Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, while both managers were also booked during the tight affair, although those do not count towards the record.

Chelsea edged to victory at the Vitality Stadium despite being on the back foot for large portions of the game, with Christopher Nkunku finishing in the 86th minute after debutant Jadon Sancho found him inside the box.
