Venezuela Copa America 2024 squad: Vinotinto players going to the USA

Venezuela will be taking part in their 20th Copa America when they land in the USA in June.

The Copa America tournament was referred to as the South American Championship until 1967. Venezuela made its debut in the final edition of the old format.

From 1975 to 2004, Venezuela did not secure a victory in twelve consecutive participations. They have never managed to reach the top three; their most successful performance came in 2011 when they were defeated in the semi-finals.

Venezuela named a 47-person preliminary roster on May 13 and the number of players was reduced to 30 on May 30. Out of this, 26 players will be selected ahead of the tournament.

GOAL takes you through the list of players who could don the jersey and represent Venezuela in South America's most prestigious football competition.
