Team news & squads
Philadelphia Union team news
As the team will be playing two matches in one week, we might see different rosters for each game.
For Wednesday's match, Jakob Glesnes will be available. However, he will be out for the MLS match at the weekend due to yellow card accumulation.
Other than Ian Glavinovich, the rest of the team is healthy and expected to be available for selection for what will be a busy week.
New York Red Bulls team news
In addition to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's 15 MLS goals, Mohammed Sofo has so far scored three goals in the U.S. Open Cup this season.
Sofo is also just one goal away from tying the franchise record for most goals scored in a single U.S. Open Cup campaign, a record currently held by Amado Guevara (2003), John Wolyniec (2010), and Bradley Wright-Phillips (2017).
