Burkina Faso team news

Coach Brama Traore will maintain the winning combination from the 5-0 victory against Djibouti, with veteran forward and captain Bertrand Traore starting from the bench again.

Dango Ouattara's two goals in the last game have made him the Stallions' leading scorer in the qualifiers with a total of four. Defender Edmond Tapsoba also bagged a couple of goals last time out.

Mohamed Konate will spearheaded the attack, while Cyriaque Kalou Irie and Ilias Tiendrebeogo are expected to retain their midfield positions.

Egypt team news

Manager Hossam Hassan will largely stick with the same lineup from the 2-0 win over Ethiopia, but is likely to opt for a defensive approach given the importance of a positive result at this stage.

Mohamed Salah is eight goals away from Hassan's goal-scoring record, and is likely to earn a recall to the XI, with with either Osama Faisal or Mostafa Mohamed leading the line.
