LAFC returns to BMO Stadium on Sunday night to square off with Real Salt Lake.
The Black & Gold are riding high after a midweek victory in Utah, where Son Heung-Min bagged his first MLS hat trick and Denis Bouanga netted his 94th goal for the club, moving past Vela to become LAFC's all-time top scorer across all competitions.
Currently sitting fourth in the Western Conference (13W-7L-8D, 47 points), Steve Cherundolo's side boasts a +17 goal differential, with 53 scored and 36 conceded in league play. RSL, meanwhile, lingers in 10th place (10W-15L-4D, 34 points) with a -10 differential, scoring 31 while conceding 41. A draw or a win on Sunday would secure LAFC a playoff berth for the seventh time in eight years, and a fourth in succession.

Real Salt Lake team news
As for RSL, Pablo Mastroeni—a former U.S. teammate of Cherundolo—will be forced into changes with Victor Olatunji suspended after his late red card in Wednesday's clash.
Despite being sent off, Olatunji had been a handful, winning a penalty and threatening from set pieces. Mastroeni will likely turn to his talisman, Diego Luna, who has nine goals in 23 games, with youngster Zavier Gozo adding four to the cause.
