Tottenham Hotspur look to shake off a recent slump when they head to Everton'sHill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday.
The Toffees were the latest side to feel the bite of Erling Haaland, falling 2-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad last weekend. Still, under David Moyes, Everton have been steady enough to stay clear of the relegation scrap and remain unbeaten in five games at their new ground across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Spurs suffered their second home league defeat of the season last weekend, letting Aston Villa walk away with a 2-1 win despite Rodrigo Bentancur giving them a dream start with a fifth-minute opener. Thomas Frank's side then eked out a goalless draw with Monaco in midweek's UEFA Champions League clash, a result they were fortunate to salvage given the overall play. Tottenham will be eager to rediscover their rhythm on Merseyside and end the mini-slide.

Team news & squads
Everton team news
For Everton, David Moyes is getting a welcome boost as Jack Grealish comes back into the squad after missing last weekend's clash against parent club Manchester City. Carlos Alcaraz is likely to make way for Grealish.
However, the hosts aren't injury-free: Jarrad Branthwaite faces surgery for a persistent hamstring problem and will be sidelined indefinitely, while Nathan Patterson is expected to miss several weeks due to a foot issue and hernia. Outside of those setbacks, Everton should have a healthy squad to select from for gameweek nine.
Tottenham team news
Tottenham Hotspur's injury woes continue to pile up, with Thomas Frank facing a depleted squad on Sunday. The list of absentees now includes Destiny Udogie (knee) and Cristian Romero (adductor), adding to the already long-term casualties: James Maddison (ACL), Ben Davies (muscle), Radu Dragusin (ACL), Dejan Kulusevski (knee), Kota Takai (foot), Dominic Solanke (ankle), and Yves Bissouma (ankle), the latter having just undergone surgery for a ligament injury.
Wilson Odobert's midweek fitness remains unclear, but Mathys Tel has returned to contention and could slot in straight away, with Randal Kolo Muani also in the mix for a possible full debut up front.
