The No. 7 Texas Tech Red Raiders (6-0) hit the road for a conference showdown against the Arizona State Sun Devils (4-2) on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Sun Devil Stadium in a pivotal Big 12 clash.

Arizona State enters as the defending Big 12 title holders, but for the second year in a row, they’re already carrying two losses by mid-October. With starting quarterback Sam Leavitt out of action, the Sun Devils were run off the field in a 42-10 drubbing at the hands of Utah. Backup Jeff Sims struggled to get anything going, completing just 18 of his 38 passing attempts.

Meanwhile, Kenny Dillingham and his Arizona State Sun Devils are still riding the high from their College Football Playoff run in 2024-25. The team sits at 4-2 overall, but at this stage, another playoff appearance seems like a long shot.
