How to watch today's Angel City vs Orlando Pride NWSL game: Live stream, TV channel, and start time

Angel City FC finally makes its long-awaited return to BMO Stadium, taking the pitch at home for the first time since June in a showdown with the Orlando Prideon Thursday.

Angel City's most recent league outing ended in a scoreless stalemate against the Utah Royals on the road, while Orlando also played to a 0-0 draw, grinding out a point against table-toppers Kansas City Current away from home.

These sides last crossed paths back on April 25, when Orlando edged out a 3-2 thriller on their own turf. History hasn’t been especially kind to ACFC in this matchup, as they sit at just 1–4–2 all-time against the Pride.

Heading into Thursday’s clash, Angel City occupies 12th place with a 4–7–5 record, while Orlando has firmly planted itself near the top of the table in third place at 8–4–4.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Angel City FC team news

With Angelina Anderson sidelined last week, Hannah Seabert stepped between the posts for her first regular-season start and delivered in style, posting a shutout to help her side steal a point on the road against Utah.

That came on the heels of a gritty 1–1 stalemate away to rivals San Diego Wave, where the opening 45 minutes turned into a chess match — tight marking, few clear looks on goal, and little room for either attack to breathe.

Orlando Pride team news

After bursting out of the gates with an 8–4–1 record in the first half of the season, the defending champions have hit a rough patch since returning from the summer break, grinding out three straight draws, two of them on home soil, against Utah, Louisville, and Kansas City.

Defensively, the Pride remain one of the stingiest sides in the league, boasting the second-best back line behind leaders Kansas City Current. But the once-lethal attack that powered their 2024 title run has lost some of its bite. Last year’s squad rattled in 46 goals, nearly 1.8 per match. This season? Just 22 through 16 games, a dip to 1.37 per outing.

A glance at the numbers tells the story. Barbra Banda continues to deliver at a superstar level with eight goals already, keeping her on pace to match her 13 from last season. The difference is, she isn't getting the same help around her. Marta, who struck nine times in 2024, has only found the net three times so far, while fellow forward Adriana, good for six goals last year, departed in the offseason.

That lack of firepower is starting to take its toll. Orlando slipped in the standings last weekend, leapfrogged by San Diego after the Wave’s 2–1 win over Bay FC.
