Jeff McNeil and Matt Chapman will look to keep the bats hot when the New York Mets host the San Francisco Giants at Citi Field on Friday, with both clubs looking to shake things up in their respective playoff hunts.

Though they might not carry the same spotlight as some of their National League West counterparts, the Giants have managed to stay in the thick of the division race for much of the season. That said, their recent stretch hasn’t gone according to plan. San Francisco has hit a serious rough patch, posting a 9-15 record in July, including just two wins in 12 games since the All-Star break.

The Mets, meanwhile, are locked in a tight divisional battle of their own, chasing the Phillies in the NL East. Despite being without Frankie Montas and Sean Manaea for most of the year, New York’s pitching staff has outperformed expectations. The rotation and bullpen have been a bright spot, ranking 11th in bullpen ERA and posting a stellar 3.58 team ERA overall.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch New York Mets vs San Francisco Giants MLB game, plus plenty more.
