The No. 16 Oklahoma Sooners (2-0) head east to clash with the Temple Owls (2-0) at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
For Oklahoma, last week's matchup with Michigan wasn’t pretty, but it was pivotal. Facing one of the toughest schedules in the country, the Sooners absolutely needed that win to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. They delivered with a gritty 24-13 victory, far from flawless, but effective enough to keep their goals intact.
Before diving into SEC play against Auburn, the Sooners now take on a tricky road test in Philadelphia. Temple, under first-year head coach KC Keeler, has burst out of the gate with authority. The Owls steamrolled UMass and Howard by a combined 97-17 margin, setting the tone for what could be a very different season than many anticipated.
