Bayern hit with setback as Stuttgart reject €40m Woltemade bid

Bayern Munich have reportedly been hit with another transfer setback after a €40 million (£35m/$47m) bid for Nick Woltemade was rejected by VFB Stuttgart. According to German outlet Bild, the proposal, which also included an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses, was deemed far below Stuttgart’s expectations for the 23-year-old attacker.

Arsenal are preparing to sell €40 million (£35m/$46m) transfer flop Fabio Vieira this summer as they initiate talks with Bundesliga side VFB Stuttgart. Former Man City goalkeeper sentenced to two years in jail

Former Manchester City and Germany goalkeeper Eike Immel has been sentenced to two years and two months in prison over fraud offences. The former footballer is said to have sold a European Championship ticket that he failed to deliver, in addition to 107 other cases registered against him for not repaying money he borrowed. Immel represented City between 1995 and 1997.
