The contrasting reactions to the two incidents raise a question mark

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick has suggested that the club will be active in the January transfer market to bolster their struggling squad. The hint comes shortly after defender Lisandro Martinez publicly voiced his frustration regarding the lack of quality reinforcements following a disappointing European defeat.

Michael Carrick has insisted that his personal job security is "not important" despite Manchester United entering a period of significant turbulence both on and off the pitch. The Red Devils head coach is under intense scrutiny following a dismal run of form and explosive comments from within his own dressing room.

Former manager Harry Redknapp has expressed doubts about Michael Carrick's natural managerial qualities, while also defending the embattled Manchester United boss. He believes the current squad lacks the necessary quality to challenge for major honours, insisting that poor recruitment is the primary reason behind their recent struggles rather than the manager himself.
