Al Ittihad U18 Overview

The debate over South Africa’ starting shot-stopper has gained fresh momentum after an impressive showing by the Orlando Pirates star in Cairo. Former national team goalkeeper coach Alex Heredia has now weighed in, with Chaine’s display adding another talking point to the competition for the No.1 jersey.

The 28-year-old midfielder has now spoken about the interest he received from Mzansi's two biggest clubs. The former Mamelodi Sundowns star has explained why he ultimately chose the black and white of Buccaneers over the Glamour Boys, offering insight into what shaped his decision at the time.

The Buccaneers have received a timely lift at a crucial juncture of the season as the head coach confirmed the return of a key midfielder to the grass. The Sea Robbers are preparing for a high-stakes Wafa Wafa final, and the sight of the 30-year-old back in training has lifted spirits around the camp.

The Glamour Boys' habit of settling for a share of the spoils has become a concern as the Soweto giants look to keep pace with the teams leading the Betway Premiership. Amakhosi legend Neil Tovey has called for patience with the head coach, but believes the Naturena-based team must start turning draws into wins if they are to stay in the title conversation.
