Team news & squads
FC Seoul team news
For FC Seoul, there are concerns over Patryk Klimala, who has missed the last two matches due to injury. However, they’ll welcome back Jun Choi, who is eligible again after serving a suspension.
Veteran attacker Jesse Lingard will aim to keep his hot streak alive, having netted three times in his last five appearances for the K League outfit.
Barcelona team news
All eyes will again be on Marcus Rashford, who may have to make do with another cameo off the bench. The 27-year-old featured for over 30 minutes against Vissel Kobe, his first run-out since recovering from a hamstring injury that cut short his loan spell with Aston Villa. Given the club's cautious approach, Rashford is expected to be eased back in with more limited minutes in Seoul.
Fellow summer arrival Joan Garcia should start between the sticks once more before handing over to Wojciech Szczesny at some point during the game. In defense, Jules Kounde could come into the XI on the right, lining up alongside Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martínez, and Alejandro Balde.
Midfield rotation could see Frenkie de Jong replace Gavi, joining Pedri in the center of the park. Up front, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha look set to hold onto their spots on the wings, while Dani Olmo might be given the creative reins in the No. 10 role over Fermin Lopez.
After featuring as a substitute on Sunday, Robert Lewandowski could lead the line from the start for the first time this preseason. In terms of absentees, Marc-André ter Stegen remains sidelined following back surgery and is expected to be out for an extended spell. Meanwhile, Eric Garcia is doubtful after missing Tuesday’s training session and will need a fitness check.
