Lyon host Crystal Palace at the Groupama Stadium in a Europa League fixture that brings together two clubs with contrasting domestic form but shared European ambitions.
Paulo Fonseca's Lyon side head into this match off the back of a 2-1 Ligue 1 defeat to Lens, a result that ended a positive run which included a 4-0 win over Rennes and a 3-1 victory against Auxerre. Their Europa League campaign has been a brighter story, and they will look to use home advantage to get their continental push back on track.
Crystal Palace arrive in Lyon in confident mood. Pierre Sage's side produced a stunning comeback to beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 in their most recent Premier League outing, with goals from Daichi Kamada, Jefferson Lerma, and Yeremy Pino turning the game on its head after falling behind.
The Eagles have also been active in Europe, beating Lech Poznan 4-0 in the Europa League, and they currently sit second in the Europa League standings — above Lyon, who are tenth.
This is a fixture between two clubs who know each other only from a single pre-season meeting, which means there is genuine intrigue about how these styles will match up in a competitive European context.

How to watch on the Big Screen
Watching on your phone or laptop is fine, but live sports belongs on the big screen. Here is how to get the VPN working on your TV:
- Smart TVs & Fire Stick: Most Android-based TVs and devices like the Amazon Fire TV Stick or Google Chromecast with Google TV have native VPN apps. Simply search for your VPN provider in the app store on your TV, log in, and connect just like you would on your phone.
- Apple TV, Roku & Consoles: These devices often don't support direct VPN apps. The easiest workaround is to use Smart DNS (usually found in your VPN account settings) or Mirror/Cast the stream from your VPN-connected phone or laptop to your TV.
