The UNLV Rebels (2-0) get set to welcome the UCLA Bruins (0-1) to Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in what promises to be a compelling early-season clash in Las Vegas.
UNLV comes into this one riding high after a convincing 38-21 win on the road against Sam Houston. The Rebels controlled much of the game, outgaining their opponent 406-332 in total yards.
They were sharp through the air, completing 19-of-23 passes for 249 yards and two scores, while adding 157 yards on the ground. Though penalties (eight for 92 yards) and a 5-for-9 showing on third downs left room for improvement, the Rebels were never seriously threatened.
For UCLA, it was a very different story in Week 1. The Bruins were humbled at home, falling 43-10 to Utah in a lopsided opener. They were outgained 492-220 in total offense, struggled badly on third down (2-for-11), and couldn’t find any rhythm offensively.
