The SEC grind shows no mercy as Auburn faces a quick turnaround, traveling to College Station to take on No. 9 Texas A&M just days after a heartbreaker at Oklahoma.
The narrow loss dropped the Tigers out of the AP Top 25, but a win on the road against the Aggies could vault Hugh Freeze's squad back into the national conversation and keep them in contention in the SEC hunt.
Beating Mike Elko's Aggies won't be a walk in the park. Texas A&M returns to action after an off week that followed their nail-biting 41-40 victory over Notre Dame in South Bend. Quarterback Marcel Reed has continued to grow, and the Aggies' offense has flourished with new contributors, topping 40 points in all three games this season.
This meeting marks the 16th in the all-time series and the 14th straight year these programs have faced off. Texas A&M holds a slight edge historically at 8-7, including a 4-2 mark in College Station, where the 12th Man always makes life difficult for visitors.
