Inter Miami still have a mathematical chance of retaining the MLS Supporters' Shield when they welcome the New England Revolution to Chase Stadium on Saturday.
However, with a place in the play-offs already confirmed, the Herons' Supporters' Shield title defense will be all but over in the event Philadelphia Union secures all three points on Sunday.
On the other hand, the Revolution are out of the post-season playoffs as they will not be able to finish higher than their current 11th place in the Eastern Conference.
