Crystal Palace team news

Adam Wharton, Marc Guehi and Nathaniel Clyne have all returned from injury. However, Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure will be unavailable.

New signings, Borna Sosa and Walter Benitez, are likely to start on the bench. Glasner seems to prefer Tyrick Mitchell at left wing-back and Dean Henderson in goal.

The main competition for a starting spot appears to be in central midfield, where Daichi Kamada, Jefferson Lerma or Will Hughes will partner Wharton.

Liverpool team news

Reds boss Arne Slot is likely to adopt a similar lineup from their latest pre-season friendly against Bilbao, with all of the new big-money signings expected to feature.

Centre-back Virgil van Dijk is a minor fitness doubt, while Wataru Endo and Andy Robertson are at hand to join Ibrahima Konate at the back.

Also, with Alisson being a doubt, Giorgi Mamardashvili will probably start in between the sticks.
