How to watch today's Toluca vs Pachuca Liga MX game: Live stream, TV channel, and start time

It was a bruising midweek in Liga MX for Toluca, who ran into a defensive wall at Caliente Stadium against Tijuana. The reigning champions were forced to grind through 90 minutes of frustration as the hosts parked the bus, but now they return to the comfort of home on Sunday night for what promises to be a far more open and fiery clash against Pachuca. Given the way both sides have been playing this season, expect fireworks at Nemesio Díez.

The good news for Toluca fans? Paulinho is set to make his return. The Portuguese star's absence was sorely felt in the draw against Tijuana, but his comeback should add teeth to the attack and restore that cutting edge that’s defined the Red Devils' campaign. With Paulinho back leading the line, the champs will fancy their chances of unleashing their full offensive arsenal, and he'll be gunning to strengthen his bid for a second straight Golden Boot.

Meanwhile, Pachuca's midweek was equally punishing. They suffered a narrow 2-1 home defeat to Tigres UANL, marking their second straight game without a win — and the fallout from that loss could prove costly. Pedro Pedraza, Eduardo Bauermann, and Oussama Idrissi will all miss the trip to Toluca after picking up suspensions from yellow and red cards. It’s a hammer blow for a side that’s already wobbling at the wrong time.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Toluca team news

Toluca’s injury report has been a mixed bag heading into the weekend. The defending champions are still sweating on the fitness of Paulinho, who has been nursing a strain injury but is expected to return soon to bolster the attack.

His absence was felt in their midweek stalemate, and the club will be eager to see their talisman back in full stride. Meanwhile, Luan Garcia remains sidelined with a fractured fibula, an injury that's expected to keep him out until early January 2026, a significant blow to Toluca's backline stability.

Pachuca team news

Over in the Pachuca camp, things aren’t looking much rosier. Alexei Domínguez is working his way back from an ankle injury and is targeting a late November return, while Andres Micolta continues to recover from a cruciate ligament injury that should keep him out until early November. To make matters worse, Eduardo Bauermann and Oussama Idrissi are both suspended after receiving second yellow cards, leaving holes in both defense and attack.

Alonso Aceves is also on the mend with a muscle issue, further thinning the squad’s depth. It's been a rough stretch for the Tuzos, who'll need to dig deep to cope with the wave of absences as they head into a crucial showdown with the reigning champs.
