No.23 Missouri and South Carolina square off Saturday at Faurot Field in a pivotal Week 4 showdown.

The Gamecocks enter at 2-1, and while their goals remain within reach, this matchup feels like a must-win to keep them on track.

Missouri, meanwhile, has stormed out to a 3-0 start and looks every bit like a dark-horse College Football Playoff contender. The Tigers showed no mercy in last week’s 52-10 rout of Louisiana, while South Carolina is seeking redemption after falling to Vanderbilt.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch the Missouri vs South Carolina NCAAF game, plus plenty more.

Missouri vs South Carolina team news & key players

Missouri Tigers team news

Missouri looks poised to dominate on the ground once again, with Ahmad Hardy expected to be the difference-maker against South Carolina's defense. Hardy has already piled up 462 rushing yards, a figure that surpasses the Gamecocks’ entire team output of 330 on the ground. Through the air, the Tigers' top target has hauled in 24 catches compared to just seven for South Carolina’s leader. Missouri’s offense is firing on all cylinders, averaging a league-best 587 yards per contest, while the Gamecocks sit at the bottom with 303.

Missouri has been lighting up the scoreboard this year, averaging 51.7 points per outing while their defense has held opponents to just 15.7 per game. The Tigers’ offense currently sits eighth in the nation, with the defense ranked 39th. In the win over Louisiana, Beau Pribula set the tone by throwing for 174 yards on 15-of-22 passing (68.2%), tallying two touchdowns and a pick. He also chipped in on the ground, running six times for 5 yards and another score.

South Carolina Gamecocks team news

Quarterback LaNorris Sellers has been upgraded from questionable to probable, a huge boost for the Gamecocks’ struggling offense. Backup Luke Doty faltered in his absence, making Sellers’ return all the more critical as South Carolina looks to repeat last year’s 34-30 Mayor’s Cup win in Columbia.

Against Vanderbilt, Doty went 18-of-27 through the air for 148 yards, though he couldn't find the end zone and was picked off once. He also tucked it and ran nine times for 20 yards. Rahsul Faison shouldered the rushing load, piling up 74 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, averaging 4.9 a pop, while also hauling in four short receptions. Nyck Harbor provided the big-play spark, grabbing four passes for 66 yards at 16.5 per catch.
