Colorado Rapids team news

Injury concerns continue to trouble the hosts, as Aaron Long remains out with an Achilles tendon issue that has sidelined him since July. Striker Igor Jesus is set for an extended absence after tearing his cruciate ligament in August, with his recovery likely to stretch into May 2026. 

Both Lorenzo Dellavalle and Odin Holm are also ruled out due to leg injuries, leaving Rafael Navarro to spearhead the attack, supported by Paxten Aaronson and Cole Bassett in the advanced midfield positions.

Los Angeles FC team news

For the visitors, Denis Bouanga and Son Heung-min continue to carry the attacking load, having accounted for 18 of LAFC's last 20 goals. Bouanga (24 goals, 8 assists) remains hot on Lionel Messi's heels in the Golden Boot race, trailing the Inter Miami star by just two strikes. 

Son, since joining in August, has made an instant impact with eight goals and three assists in only nine appearances. David Martinez Morales (3 goals, 4 assists) and Jeremy Ebobisse (4 goals, 1 assist) are also expected to feature, adding further firepower to one of the league's most potent front lines.
