How to watch today's Al Ittihad vs Al Hilal Saudi Pro League game: Live stream, TV channel, and start time

The Saudi Pro League's very own 'Al Clasico' takes center stage on Friday night, as two heavyweights of Saudi football — Al Hilal and Al Ittihad — collide in what promises to be a blockbuster encounter.

The defending champions Al Ittihad will host last season's runners-up at the King Abdullah Sports City, with both sides looking to rediscover their best form after a somewhat sluggish start to the 2025–26 campaign. Al Hilal currently sit fourth in the standings, just one spot above their Jeddah rivals.

Al Hilal made a statement of intent over the summer, appointing Simone Inzaghi as head coach and adding marquee names like Theo Hernandez and Darwin Nunez to their ranks. Yet, despite the big spending, consistency has eluded them so far. They've collected three wins and two draws from their opening five league games, solid, but not spectacular.

However, their Asian form tells a different story. The Riyadh giants have won all three of their AFC Champions League fixtures, including a commanding 3–1 victory over Al Sadd earlier this week. Inzaghi will be hoping that continental confidence translates into domestic dominance.

As for Al Ittihad, their campaign has been a rollercoaster. After a rocky start in Asia, the defending SPL champions finally notched their first ACL win with a 4–1 comeback triumph over Al Shorta, despite playing much of the match with 10 men. Domestically, they've also stuttered, three wins, one draw, and one defeat from five matches leave them still searching for top gear.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Al Ittihad team news

Karim Benzema may have gone two games without finding the net, but the Frenchman remains the heartbeat of Al Ittihad's frontline, already boasting three goals from his first three league appearances this term.

Danilo Pereira is available for selection again after serving a suspension in continental action, though Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti remains doubtful due to a muscle issue.

Al Hilal team news

For Al Hilal, injuries continue to pose a headache. Joao Cancelo is ruled out with a hamstring problem, while star winger Salem Al Dawsari will also sit this one out as he nurses a hip injury, though he's expected to return soon. Long-term absentee Suhayb Al Zaid remains sidelined until early 2026 as he recovers from a cruciate ligament tear.

Up front, Darwin Nunez is expected to spearhead the attack alongside Marcos Leonardo, as the visitors aim to stretch their unbeaten run and claim bragging rights in one of the Saudi Pro League's most anticipated showdowns.
