Veteran backup Brandon Allen took over after Ward, delivering a sharp performance. He connected on 11-of-14 throws for 119 yards, tossing a 25-yard touchdown to fourth-round tight end Gunnar Helm, though he was also picked off once. His passer rating of 96.1 highlighted an efficient night.
