Premier League Betting Tips: Arsenal well backed to pile the pressure on Claude Puel at Leicester

Arsenal began the week at around 6/5 (2.20) to beat Leicester City in Arsene Wenger's penultimate match in charge but the Gunners have been well backed in recent days.

dabblebet are now 4/5 (1.80) on the visitors leaving the King Power Stadium with their first league win of the calendar year.

Leicester are 3/1 (4.0) but even those odds make little appeal given the Foxes' recent performances.

West Ham's victory on this ground was a fourth defeat in five league games for Claude Puel's side. The Frenchman is under serious pressure despite a dreaded vote of confident from the Leicester hierarchy.

It's now been three matches since the Foxes even found the net and injuries have left them with a threadbare squad for Wednesday's clash.

Ben Chilwell, Wilfried N'didi, Matty James and Danny Simpson are all side-lined meaning the hosts are short of options, especially in central midfield and at full-back.

With those factors in mind, it's unsurprising to see visitors being well backed, even at odds on quotes. The Gunners handed Burnley a 5-0 thrashing at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and the 7/4 (2.75) on Arsenal -1 (i.e to win by two or more goals) here should also prove a popular selection.

The atmosphere against West Ham turned sour very quickly once the Hammers went in front and a similar situation could develop in this game too. Sections of the home support were extremely vocal in their disapproval of Puel and his decisions, booing a double substitution on the hour mark and directing negative chants at the manager.

With the pressure off Wenger having announced his departure at the end of the campaign, Arsenal look a very solid bet to finally win on the road against a team who have seemingly all-but given up for the season.

It would be no surprise to see the 4/5 (1.80) currently available with dabblebet shorten further before the action gets underway.
