This season, official UEFA Champions League partner Sony Xperia is offering supporters a unique way to see and share the tension, the joy, the relief and disbelief, as followers of the UCL react to the action in their very own living rooms.
And this week saw a living room divided in Madrid for the fourth straight year, as Real hosted Ateltico for the first leg of their semi-final clash. After exiting the competition at the hands of their fierce rivals on all three previous occasions, Atleti were desperate for revenge.
But things started poorly for Diego Simeone’s men when Cristiano Ronaldo headed Real into an early lead.

Atelti were being overrun but dug in as they so often have. Buoyed by the relentless support of the red half of the city, the visitors held firm, desperate not to concede again.

But then Cristiano stuck once more. The Champions League's all-time top scorer was again making the competition his own. Atleti were in big trouble.
SonyThe inevitable followed as Ronaldo rolled in his hat-trick for what looks set to be a tie-defining goal. Three down and without an away goal, Atleti face the challenge of their lives.
SonyThe Real fans certainly seem confident of a third final appearance in four years, and the reigning champions are now favourites to become the first team in the Champions League era to successfully defend their crown.
