WHAT HAPPENED?
Per Charles Watts, midfielder Partey is wanted by Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, who are interested in securing the Ghana international on a free transfer. His contract expires this summer, although he remains a key player for Mikel Arteta's side, making 39 appearances in all competitions.
AFPTHE BIGGER PICTURE
Arsenal are already making plans to replace the 31-year-old and are interested in signing Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi. They have also been linked with young star Sverre Nypan at Rosenborg, but there is also interest from Manchester City.
