    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kane made the £100 million ($124m) move to Bayern Munich from Tottenham in the summer, but he was not joined in Bavaria by his wife and four young children. The England international has had to settle into life in a new country without them, but according to the Athletic, next month he and his family will move into a luxury villa formerly occupied by an ex-Bayern star.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kane has reportedly run up a seven-figure bill while living in a £10,000-a-night suite at the luxurious Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Hotel. Living apart from his family doesn't appear to have impacted his form, though, with the England captain having scored 21 goals in 16 games for his new club.

    WHAT HIS MANAGER SAID

That said, Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel expects Kane's performances to get even better once his family join him in Munich. "He's a real family man, you can feel the difference when they’re around," he said a few weeks ago.
