The average age of Chelsea's starting lineup against Crystal Palace is 23 years and 21 days which is the youngest-ever lineup in the club's history in the Premier League and the eighth-youngest lineup overall in the league's history.

After scoring his maiden Premier League goal on his debut for the Blues in the team's 2-1 loss to Wolves on Christmas Eve, Christopher Nkunku will feature in Pochettino's starting eleven for the first time since joining the club in the summer. He has been deployed in the number 10 role, just behind Nicolas Jackson.
