WHAT HAPPENED?
The Norwegian has missed Arsenal's last three matches against Newcastle, Sevilla and Burnley after he reportedly suffered a concussion following a hit in the face with a ball during training. He remains unavailable for Norway's friendly against Faroe Islands in Oslo and the crucial Euro 2024 qualifier against Scotland.
However, Stale Solbakken assured Gunners fans that the injury is not "career-threatening" and the club is doing their best to get him back as quickly as possible.

While addressing a press conference, Solbakken said: "When the club is so reticent, I don’t know how right it is for me to talk about it. It’s a normal football injury that you probably recover from very well and that is not career-threatening.”

Solbakken remained cautious about sharing the details of the injury and hinted that it could have something to do with his leg but refrained from giving the exact details. However, Odegaard might be present at the Ullevaal Stadion to support his teammates and "be with the squad" during the friendly against Faroe Island.
