Although the Red Devils have already moved past two La Liga outfits in Barcelona and Real Betis in the tournament this season, Sevilla would remain as the team who pipped the English outfit to the title back in 2017.

In their 1-0 and 2-0 league wins against Brentford and Everton, respectively, Erik ten Hag's men have given their Champions League hopes for the next season a major boost.

Whereas Sevilla are somewhat lagging in that department as they are currently 13th in La Liga after Saturday's 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo in the league but will be hoping to take the route to the group stage of the Champions League by winning the Europa League.

The club confirmed that Marcus Rashford "will be unavailable for a few games", while Luke Shaw remains a doubt with a hamstring problem, with Donny van de Beek, Tom Heaton and Alejandro Garnacho will miss out on account of injury setbacks.

Casemiro has completed serving his domestic ban to feature alongside the in-form Scott McTominay, with Christian Eriksen also deemed available after making his return from an ankle issue against Everton on Saturday.

Man United loanee Alex Telles is in contention to face his parent club on Thursday, although Marcos Acuna may be the preferred choice at left-back despite the latter's red card against Celta at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Lucas Ocampos returns from being suspended for the Celta game, but Joan Jordan and Tecatito are are both injured, besides Pape Cheikh Diop being ineligible for the tie.

Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri is expected to spearhead the attack with the likes of Ivan Rakitic and Erik Lamela likely to feature in the XI.
