But the report adds that Betis will not be able to afford to sign him permanently unless they qualify for next season's Champions League - with the 25-year-old valued at €40-50 million (£33.5-42m). They sit one spot and three points behind fifth-placed Villarreal in La Liga, who occupy the last qualification spot. With United keen to sell, that puts Betis at a big disadvantage.
