WHAT HAPPENED?
Arsenal remained unbeaten in 13 straight home matches across all competitions as they registered a 2-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday. They have now won 11 times at Emirates and drew twice.
This is their longest unbeaten streak at home since Mikel Arteta took over as the club's manager and they achieved this feat for the first time in five years.

Despite being the more dominant side by far throughout the ninety minutes the Gunners were wasteful but Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz made sure that they walked out of the game with important three points.
The win also helped them reclaim the top position on the league table, albeit temporarily as they now have 39 points from 17 matches.

In the ongoing season, Arteta's side won all of their three home games in the Champions League group stage and have registered seven wins out of their nine home fixture in the Premier League. Their last defeat at Emirates came against Brighton back in May.
