  • WHAT HAPPENED?

The Bavarians have been sensational in attack both domestically and in Europe, and the addition of Kane from Tottenham during the summer transfer window has played a significant role in this success. He has forged a highly productive partnership with Sane in Bayern's attack, reminiscent of his successful collaboration with Heung-Min Son during his time at Tottenham. The duo has showcased a remarkable synergy and has contributed plenty of goals, with each player assisting the other on multiple occasions.

  • WHAT SANE SAID ABOUT KANE

Speaking to Bild, Sane said: "Harry is an incredible player — it’s a huge pleasure to play alongside him. He has an unbelievable understanding of the game. We have processes that we trained, we know in which spaces each of us stands. But sometimes we have to react to the situation because things that we didn’t discuss can happen. That’s intuition. For example when I run towards the left, he knows he has to go to the right. We complement each other well. He’s simply an incredible striker, one of the best in the world — if not the best."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Sane compared Kane to other world-class strikers he has played with, like Robert Lewandowski and Sergio Aguero, and hailed the England skipper for his exceptional playmaking abilities that differentiate him from the rest.

“I’ve played with many world-class strikers. With Robert Lewandowski here and with Kun Agüero at City, they were different types of players. Harry often plays the last or penultimate pass before the shot. He does that incredibly well,” Sane analysed.
