The Argentina international was only cautioned after violently lashing out at a Guangzhou Evergrande player in the Chinese Super League

Another day, another star lashing out at an opponent in the Chinese Super League.

Less than a week after Brazil international Oscar started a brawl after he twice fired the ball at opponents from close range, Argentine attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi has kicked out at an opponent.

Oscar banned for EIGHT games

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward, now with Hebei China Fortune of the CSL, kicked out at Feng Xiaoting of Guangzhou Evergrande in the 60th minute of their match on Sunday, clipping the defender on the back of the leg and causing a brief stand-off between the two players.

Lavezzi appeared apologetic in the immediate aftermath, but he was still shown a yellow card for his action. The caution seemed to calm both sides down, although the 31-year-old may have gotten off lightly given the severity of his kick.
