Team news

Karim Benzema was substituted in the midweek Champions League win at Ajax with a hip injury, so is likely to be rested on Sunday. Isco and Marcos Llorente remain injury doubts.

Girona have Colombian centre-back Bernardo Espinosa suspended, whilst Seydou Doumbia, Marc Muniesa and Aday Benitez are all likely to be missing.

Real Madrid have the best home defensive record in La Liga, having conceded just five goals in the 11 matches they have contested in front of their own fans.
