Real Madrid Team News: Injuries, suspensions and line-up vs Sevilla

Real Madrid will look to take another big step towards the title by beating Sevilla in the Primera Division at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.

Zinedine Zidane's side are second in the table, below Barcelona due to their inferior head-to-head record in the meetings between the two teams this season, but with the same points as the Catalan club and still with a game in hand over their Clasico rivals.

REAL MADRID POTENTIAL STARTING LINE-UP

There are no more Champions League matches now until the final on June 3, but Real Madrid are in action against Celta Vigo in midweek. Nevertheless, Zidane is set to field a strong side against Sevilla as Los Blancos look to close in on the title.

Who is Madrid's Player of the Season in La Liga?

The Frenchman has rested players in recent weeks and is likely to rotate his pack again for this Liga clash, although Cristiano Ronaldo should start in attack after sitting out the last two Primera Division matches.

There should also be a place in the team for James Rodriguez, who has netted five goals in his last four appearances in La Liga and has also scored in each of his seasons at the club against Sevilla.

SEVILLA TEAM NEWS

Sevilla are in fourth place in La Liga and need just one more point to guarantee a top-four finish as the Andalusians are six points clear of Villarreal with just two fixtures remaining.

Bale steps up recovery for CL final

Sampaoli's side have enjoyed a spectacular season, although results have dipped in recent weeks and the team is without an away win since beating Betis 2-1 in the Seville derby on February 25.

Vitolo and Sergio Escudero are back in training and should feature at the Bernabeu, but Vicente Iborra, Mariano Ferreira and Adil Rami are all doubtful. Pablo Sarabia misses out through suspension.
